Cross-country should be one of the most exciting sports, but for the last few years it has mostly been super boring. Not sure what can be done to change it. The difference between Norway/Sweden and the rest is just too big. It would be a start to allow less athletes from Norway/Sweden to compete and to focus more on shorter races. I think with climate change the gap will otherwise just get bigger. Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached. The entire CC/NC German team with completely inferior material for the third day in a row. Not the only team of course, but kinda sad on the home turf. And honestly, I hope Johaug will quit soon. Women's mass start races are completely unwatchable with her on the start list. No climax, field destroyed after minutes.
