I thought it would be nice to have a thread for anything quiz-related as some people seem interested into quizzing.

You can do your own quizzes here or share other quizzes across the world wide web.

If only we could have this awesomely suspenseful musical accompaniment to go with it for the high tier questions :d

I'll set the start for a run or two on Saturday, 2nd January 2021.

I may have one person a day or a bunch as a "full episode", it depends. First, let me know if you express interest and want a run.

Also, you may raise if you want to be part of an expert team. It'll be for the "Expert" lifeline where a contestant can ask the group for help.

@Quasit I’ll mark myself down as willing to participate as either a contestant or member of a expert team (or both if allowed).

Yes, that is allowed. Except you can't be an expert on your own run. :d

    • I don't know if anybody but me cares about this, but this article about Santa Monica ( a snotty beach community near LA) really peeved.     https://www.smdp.com/as-los-angeles-looks-to-2028-santa-monica-positions-itself-as-a-global-stage-for-sport-storytelling-and-community-impact/   It's all about how Santa Monica is going to be such a leading force for the games:   “Santa Monica is not just showing up for 2028,” James said. “We are shaping the experience. From our coastline to our infrastructure, we offer a globally recognized stage with the ability to deliver authentic, well-executed experiences that benefit both visitors and our local community. Our focus is translating global interest into meaningful, well-managed experiences that means thinking not just about visibility, but about legacy.”   Well, Santa Monica can just fuck all the way off.  Besides the vaporous word salad in the quote, they were asked to host the Beach Volleyball tournament, but refused, saying (literally) that they should just free ride on all the other places that are hosting events and just reap the rewards of the increased tourism.
