Sailing 2021 Discussion Thread

So Viktorija Andrulytė won bronze at the Laser Radial Championships in Oman. 

 

She beat Anne-Marie Rindom and other famous names in sailing.

 

I honestly have no clue if I should get hyped or not, since I don't know what level of legit this competition actually was

2. Agata Barwinska 

3. Viktorija Andrulytė

Sailing results can be pretty random. As in, there are athletes who win a medal exactly once and out of nowhere (especially in the Laser classes). It could be about venue and/or specific atmosphere conditions being perfect for their styles.

 

I guess you should wait and see if Andrulyte can repeat this, preferably outside of Oman.
