Recap of Slovak athletes competing in Day 3

 

In Fencing, Men´s Individual Foil the naturalized French young Cedrik Serri advanced from his preliminary pool with a record 3/3. In the 1st round he defeated Boldizsar Balogh of   15-4, but lost in the 2nd round to Toshyia Saito of   10-15.

 

In Artistic Gymnastics, Women´s All-Around Individual Final, Barbora Mokošová finished in 9th position (our by far best result of this Universiade so far) with 51.324 points.

Congrats Barbora !

 

In Swimming only Barbara Bartovičová competed today in the 100m Backstroke Women´s, She finished 6th in her heat with a time 1:07,19 and in overall she ranked 38th more than 5 seconds behind the semifinals cut line.

 

and in Tennis, Ivan Košec lost his opening match of the Men´s Singles, in 2nd round to Logan Staggs of   2-6, 5-7 (5).
