I think the most fair solution would be the following:

Winners of the 25 matches advance to 2nd jump

Polish jumpers also jump immediately after the 25th match. If any of the Polish jumpers are in the top 5 unqualified, then they can advance to the 2nd jump.

Yes, it would be the best solution, but lets see what FIS and local health authorities will decide tonight.

According our skiing federation we have an official agreement, if tomorrow all our jumpers will have negative tests then will be allowed to compete tomorrow in main event, KO system won't be used and all 62 jumpers will jump in first serie with the best 30 will jump in second serie.

So the big German names who all finished outside the Top 12 get a re-jump, then?

Geiger and Kraft have chances. Their standing in the World Cup is misleading, because both missed several competitions.

Yes, they were rock solid before, they can win too.

Just saw the Polish news now, damn. Zyla and Kubacki out are such a shame for the competition and Stekala out while in the shape of his life is just sad :(

Wait, what? The whole system would be thrown overboard to save a few jumpers? :yikes:

That must be a first, sort of..

Start list is out by the way, I'd find it incredibly odd if they suddenly just disregard the entire qualification...

And apparently it's been fixed in Polish favour indeed: tests are negative and the whole qualifying has been thrown overboard to make an exception that fits the organizers better.

As if they'd have done this for, say, the likes of Zografski, Soukup, Aigro or Dean.

Oh well, good for the strength of the competition of course, let's see if they can turn their incredible post-Christmas luck into something good.

Of course not. But they can't afford losing one of the very few actually competitive teams.
