Nice stage from Lutsenko. That win wasn’t as exciting as his victory at the 2018 Asian Games, but it was still a fantastic ride nonetheless.

Powless managed to give me more hope about the future of American cycling. Actually, I’m very pleased with our “young” cyclists right now. Kuss and Powless have shown a fair amount of ability and strength lately. I’m excited to see how they’ll perform for the rest of the tour. I once thought Craddock would be the future of American cycling, and possibly a GC contender, but he never really planned out. However, between these three, I have some high hopes for American cycling in the coming years. They probably aren’t guys that will win tour after tour, but they are riders that could be competitive at events like the World Championships and Olympic Games, and honestly I’ll take that.

Sagan has been really disappointing this year. He’s clearly not in good form. I hope he’s able to comeback at some point. Easily one of the most entertaining cyclists of this century.

In Slovakia we have a proverb: rabbits are counted after the hunt

I mean, it is not over yet, wait the 3rd week, this will be the main week for the green jersey.

Also he always finished in the top 5 in all sprint stages so far (2 times 5th and once 4th) Always finishing in atleast one group ahead of all sprinters in the mountains stages. I would definitely not say he is really disappointing, he never was A Sprinter

In other hand Bennett is really strong this year and deserve the green so far, but let see how he and Peťo will do the 3rd week

Usually Sagan makes up points by hanging on for intermediate points in the big mountain stages long after all the other sprinters have dropped out the back, so we’ll have to wait.

Got our early break - Cosnefroy for the KoM points, & Schär, just saying hello.  :hatoff:

Schär gives up.  Bora trying to do a job for Sagan, by pushing the sprinters out the back.  :smash:

Oh dear poor old Cosnefroy only just holds on for his two points.  Bora got Bennett off the back though.  They’ve got a couple more climbs to work with before the sprint.

So looks like being a more unpredictable stage than we thought.

Ooh!  Crosswinds!  Peleton is broken into four groups now, so some people are going to be in trouble. Sagan Gp1, Bennett Gp2.

This is so evil by Bora!  :afro:.  At one point the Bennett group got to about 20m off the lead group, & Bora just attacked again!  Gap going back up, and second group scrambling to keep going.  :woot:

Cosnefroy is too good for this kind of bullshit, getting the two points due to the grace of the peloton and then hoping to finish within the time limit..
