Ops, I missed it :p. Good luck for your bid

I hope they do not win the right tbh, they don't deserve hosting a World Cup at all.

I disagree.

I really like having it that way, and would really like to see it in other team sports (at least handball, to actually give Oceania a shot at the Worlds).

But of course it can be discussed, whether it's right when the Worlds become bigger as now.

Another impressive performance of our league players. Sweden and Slovakia team leagues match in UAE ended by a blow 6-0. Long live to our football national championship and our clubs full of megastars  oh dear can´t stop laughing...and our officials still are considering to extend the number of participants clubs from nowadays 12 to 16  already now follow any match of this league is a indescribably painful tragedy...

In other hand 2 players from our league are in the final rosters of the African Cup of Nations, both in Team Cameroon. Ernest Mabouka defencer of Žilina and Robert Ndip Tambe forward of Spartak Trnava.

    • For the summary and lowlights of Thailand's preparation in hosting the ongoing Sea Games, I kindly suggest those who are interested to read from this English language article from Thai media outlet, Thai Enquirer: https://www.thaienquirer.com/63469/thailands-sea-games-2025-under-fire-budget-management-and-technical-controversies/
    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
    • Wisła Płock just assumed 1st position after five consecutive draws. Must be first time ever a team on a five match winless streak actually moves up to league top.
    • Well ya, which is why the Egyptian and Iranian teams can shut up and dribble :P
    • The problem is, the World Cup is not a local event. Overall it's another storm in a teacup. LGBT rights in Muslim countries won't change a damn inch becuse of one soccer match in Seattle
