so, still about the "amazing" Cristiano Ronaldo Airport, today was the inauguration, and they inaugurated a statue in the airport in honour of Ronaldo and.... well, I can't explain it without laughing so here it is:

UEFA Women's CHL have the first three semi finalists: Lyon (the holders), Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona.

 

For the first time until 2007 there will not be a German club in Final, because last quarter is between English (Manchester City) and Danish (Fortuna Hjorring).

Is also the first time for a Spanish team in SF.

 

SF: PSG vs Barcelona ........... will be the renvege for men's result?

FIFA recommended the following slot allocation system for the 2026 World Cup:

The recommendation will now be submitted for the ratification of the FIFA Council, whose next meeting is scheduled for 9 May in Manama, Bahrain, two days prior to the 67^th FIFA Congress.

 

Slot allocation*

·         AFC: 8 direct slots

·         CAF: 9 direct slots

·         CONCACAF: 6 direct slots

·         CONMEBOL: 6 direct slots

·         OFC: 1 direct slot

·         UEFA: 16 direct slots

* The host country would also automatically qualify for the FIFA World Cup, and its slot would be taken from the quota of its confederation. In the event of co-hosting, the number of host countries to qualify automatically would be decided by the FIFA Council.

Play-off tournament for two remaining slots
The above allocation accounts for 46 of the 48 participating teams. The proposal reviewed by the Bureau of the Council includes a play-off tournament involving six teams to decide the last two FIFA World Cup berths:

-          One team per confederation with the exception of UEFA + one additional team from the confederation of the host country;

-          Two teams to be seeded based on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking. The seeded teams will play for a FIFA World Cup berth against the winners of the first two knockout games involving the four unseeded teams;

-          Tournament to be played in the host country(ies) and to be used as a test event for the FIFA World Cup;

Debutants Manchester City eliminated Fortuna Hjorring and will play the SF against Lyon.

After the winter pause, both teams signed an Usa  top player: Carli LLOYD/ Man City (scored in first leg) and Alex MORGAN/ Lyon

 

Other SF will be PSG vs Barcelona

loool one of the longest streak in the professional football (sport) finally ended. Peter Pekarík just scored his first ever goal in his 151st league match !!!  His joy and all his teammates was simply immense Untill nowI noticed that he scored only once, against San Marino during the 2010 World Cup qualifiers, so really finally after 7 years he scored

The final of CONCACAF Champions League 2016/2017, will be another derby, between Tigres  UANL (runner up last year) and Pachuca (four time winner), will play on April 18th and 26th.

The winner will qualify as the CONCACAF representative at the FIFA Club World Cup 2017,  in the United Arab Emirates.

Things that can happen only in Slovakia

 

A high-risk national league match DAC Dunajská Streda - Slovan Bratislava has been played yesterday...ofc..what was expected happened...

 

first host team fans started "provocations" singing Hungarian anthem and their traditional Ria-Ria-Hungaria

 

 

and ofc then Slovan Bratislava hooligans started the fiesta

 

 

atleast it ended better than few years ago
