Maybe they should have kept it at 30 km. And not changed the other disciplines. btw I also think it was a bad idea to make the mens distansen shorter. yes the women needed a longer skiathlon and definately longer relay legs but those distances are to shorts for the men. Not with individual starts but it is just to difficult ti make differences in the men's mass starts. Kläbo won the longest race so probably he would have had 6 golds anyway but it is also clear that he is the skiier with most benefit from these changes. -
