Nice to see 15 nations* with medals in the first day, including Belgium which hasn't won a medal since 1994. Pretty hard to beat the record of 25 nations from that edition, though, since we had much more events at Lillehammer.

 

*I don't think Neutral Paralympic Athlethes are considered a nation, though.

Silver and bronze for GB is a very good result, need to hope for a slip up from Farkasova in the technical events for a gold in visually impaired Skiing!! Would be great if they could hit their medal target of 7 as this would increase the funding for our fantastic Paralympic winter athletes.
