Yes, which is how Nauru won a medal in 2010. One win and you are a medalist (four boxers have that chance)

Actually, he was very lucky because his side of the bracket only had Grenada (Semifinal). The other half of the bracket had Puerto Rico, Russia, Egypt and Azerbaijan. :d

Unfortunately, less "exotic" nations have qualified for Nanjing and now as well.

any Argentinian will go to the stadium ?

If you mean the opening ceremony, it's not in a stadium but in the street. And no, i'm not attending it.

I will go when sports start on sunday.

Ceremony in the street :yikes:

no tickets to buy no parade of nations

they will just show cars ,cats of streets and people buying hotdog

There will be parade of nations as far as I know, why else would everyone nominate flag bearers then?

There aren't conventional tickets but you need to have a bracelet that has a chip inside to enter the place. Same bracelet you will need for all events.

    • I am assuming the FIS will fight very hard to keep it.   From a substainability standpoint it also really doesn’t make that much sense to axe Nordic combined as long as ski jumping is in the games anyway. For the same reason that all three sliding sports are basically a package that will live and die together.

    • I can’t see it being kept. Unless some very important  people have asked for it.
    • First event at the World juniors (team events) had 6 nations win medals.
    • I hope they keep it. Even though the sport doesn't exist in Slovakia at all, it's still very exciting to watch.
    • will miss this stage because of the Middle East war, since the flights with Qatar Airways have been cancelled and can't be replaced in time (especially for the bicycles)
