And it was a really nice and touching and at same time funny moment, right during the Czech Athlete of the year live in national TV. Adam finished 8th and the presentator asked him "So Adam, what´s new ? Any wedding in minds ?" and he responded "When I ask my girlfriend for a hand", But that was not enough for the presentator: "And when do you plan to do it ?"
At this moment, Helcelet answered: "Well, for example now,"
:d

:yes

First two events, where Czech could earn quota, were WCH in sailing (Denmark) and WCH in shooting (South Korea). In sailing unfortunately nearly everybody was quite far to earn qualification spot. In shooting - skeet shooter Jakub Tomecek placed 5th in final which meant first place with no quota. That was such a pity. He returned for international competition after long time and this could have been great achievement.

In these days, czech judokas collect point to Olympic qualification at the WCH in Baku. Success is needed because there are awarded much higher point than at any other events. First was competing David Pulkrabek (-60kg) who went out in 2nd round. He earned 200 points and was quite disapointed. Regarding his previouses successes he wanted more. But he is currently holding qualifying spot.

Pavel Petřikov dnes předvedl skvele predstaveni na MS v Baku!! Po nedavnem prestupu do vahove kategorie -66kg se dostal az do ctvrteho kola, kde bohuzel nestacil na aktualni svetovou dvanactku, Brazilce Cargnina. Nicmene konecne devate misto a zisk 320 bodu do olympijske kvalifikace je super uspech :-)

On The Mens side multiple Athletes (Perrot, Giacomel, Uldal) have already done it.   E.
