It may be worth noting that the test event in Milan last year was by far Canada's worst performance at a World Tour stop in the last two years.

Sarault almost quit the sport after Beijing, so taking that into consideration now that I think about it actually I’m quite happy with the result. 
 

Sarault becomes the first Canadian female short track speed skater since Boutin in 2018 to win 3 medals at an Olympics! Insane!
