No proper circuit, no marketing and events being crammed in 2 days mostly. Also 15 different World Championships and you never know who is the World Champion for what event at any given time.

 

For me they should completely revamp the calendar and make the season actually mean something more.

That's just not true

 

Only a small 3-4% of wine actually gets better with age and there are lots and lots of great wines that simply aren't meant to be aged

For a Dutchman sure  For anyone else, that hasn't been raised with speed skating in their veins it's rather confusing. Especially with World Championships every year. 

 

For me, get rid of the sprint ones. Single distance every 2 years, before and after Olympics, while the All-round goes between them every 4 years. Strengthen the World Cup to have every stop be a 5-6 day event like a tennis Masters or something.
