The bronze medal got decided by just 1.2 pts   Good for :JPN they held on.

But Poland is lucky with this Tomasiak... 20 years ago it was Małysz, 10 years ago Stoch, and now a 19-year-old wins a medal olympic for them, when the rest of the team is at the level of France or Italy, lol Well, but they always get someone strong once every 10 years. I still remember the times when in Poland there was only one Małysz and the rest of team were somewhere outside the top 30.

Yeah, Tomasiak actually had zero hype before the season and that maybe helps him avoid the fate of Murańka or Rutkowski both whom flamed out very hard after media annointed them as 'next Malysz' (esp. the latter).

And there it is. :SLO gold, :NOR silver and :JPN hangs on to bronze by 1.2 pts :d

Only Sara Takanashi's second medal.  She was the biggest name in Women's ski jumping before it became an Olympic sport, but has never won much at the Olymoucs.
