Guadalajara, the city I live in, as well as other towns in the state of Jalisco, are currently under siege by cartels. Blocked roads, burnt cars, trucks and buses all around the city streets, plus armed cartel squads through the city. Guess there’s not going to be repechage matches or even WC after all -
Eileen Gu only learned of her grandmother's passing after the competition today. Her grandmother had a profound impact on her life. I hope she has more time to calm her emotions and that we will see a happy her again soon. -

Memorable moments are plenty but my favourite might be Botn's perfect race in the individual. It meant a lot to him and he dedicated it all to Sivert Guttorm Bakken. Also, Eileen Gu looked like she enjoyed all her performances and just being there.

FWIW, was definitively my favorite moment of those games. Hard to find many Olympic champions from those games who deserved it more.

Of all the pictures you posted from the victory ceremonies, this is the pic of the games for me. The faces on the Swedish and Norwegian team. I still can't get over these expressions. lol
