Sailing Discussion | Qualification to Summer Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 Road to LA 2028

despite 2 gold and 1 silver (and the Nations Trophy), not an amazing championship for :ITA

not winning a single medal in all the skiff/dinghy classes is not a good sign (even if we won many medals in the past few years, it's not a truly worrying long drought)

tbh, the expectations were higher

Happy to see good names for Brazil, this sport used to be our main strength, it was sad to finish Paris 2024 without any medals.

most likely they won't even qualify, if the federation gives Ugolini/Giubilei a real chance

quite a disappointing week for :ITA (OK, not all the main crews were there, but those who were in Palma, definitely didn't match the expectations, especially the girls of ILCA6)

Same for the Dutch crews :NED . Only a silver for Kampman, who won almost every race this week, except the grand final.

3 medals + a potential medal in Nacra and that's OK for me. The goal should also be to qualify for the Olympics in all disciplines in 2028.
