Chiefs beat Ravens 27-20 in the season opener. The score was closer than the game itself as the Chiefs were the better team overall IMO.

imho, it was BAL that threw it away

defense too easy to beat in all the key plays and despite having by far better stats, offense not able to materialize all the chances

in particular, your usual Lamar, missing by miles a very easy pass in the action before the (unfortunate) last attempt

KC didn't convince me in full, they just did the homework with not much enthusiasm

happy to see that TS has almost disappeared in the tv pictures (there were just a couple of shots at her, if I remember well) :bones: :p

Game in Brazil tonight, it will be nice.

At the exactly same time the football national team plays against Ecuador in Curitiba, this game could have been yesterday but you know, Conmebol and CBF...

    • This is going to have an effect on very likely 0 athletes, possibly 1 or 2 we don't really know about yet. It's really mostly the cheapest possible way for them to make a sort of political statement, without having any significant backlash since it won't really affect anyone at the top level of international sports.   Edit: worded a bit wrong, I was thrown off by everywhere 'trans women' being mentioned as the target of this. Of course there is also the somewhat larger category of DSD and the likes, which will certainly affect a few athletes - unfortunately they are often thrown under the bus or mentioned as 'not really women anyway' or something like that, despite, you know, being.

    • People focus on trans people because it's easier to pinpoint the affected athletes. Meanwhile it's the athletes with (suspected) DSDs that will have tougher time to convince the authorities and the public opinion that they belong to women's sports.

    • yes, there are (or there was, at least) don't forget that the women's 800m had world and olympic champions like Semenya, Jelimo and Nyonsaba...basically, it was 10 years of DSD winners only the same Athing Mu was suspected to be DSD (never confirmed, but somehow she totally disappeared after Tokyo) then, there were the 2 girls from Namibia (1 won a medal over 200m in Tokyo) in Italy we have the living scandal Valentina Petrillo (a paralympian!!!), who's actually a real man not to mention the weightlifter from who took part into the Tokyo Games so, it's a real problem all around the globe, not just a US crusade against a few woke idiots
