The Championships will take place in  Bangkok

Qualification is now over, and we know the 32 teams.

Pools are set for Worlds;

It seems that there is no group of death, all of them looks easy for best teams.

and apparently the knockout round will be the same as the men's tournament

 

one team from Pool A and H => semifinal

the same from B & G and then C/F and D/E

 

it's highly possible to see JPN/SRB, ITA/POL, CHN/BRA and USA/TUR in the quarterfinal. only few teams are capable of upsetting those teams. 

 

it's a great format that you can even predict the quarterfinalists

There aren't 32 decent women's teams in the world. What will happen is a lot of boring matches.

 

Let's see how many 25-10 sets we'll have in this competition.
