Nice summer update from Felix Loch from the flood-destroyed track at Konigsee.  Reconstruction is in full swing, on schedule for a November reopening & a World Cup in 2026.  Big congratulations to all involved.

That is awesome, always heartbreaking to see such a venue destroyed by nature and amazing to see the amounts of hard work paying off.

Not so fast...... Felix is proved to be a better luge pilot than a project manager - reopening delayed till October 2026.

 

No pre-Olympic luge World Cup at Königssee due to repair delays
