Heartbreak for Lawes, really wanted this one for her. With Homan preparing for the Olympics this was probably her best chance 
 

The closeup of her face after it was over, you can see every single bit of disappointment, after being undefeated this week at 10-0, losing the final is that much tougher to lose

Wow, Einarson came back from the dead there with an incredible last shot in the 10th, and then a steal in the 11th. Feel bad for Lawes, though.

Would you believe we are straight back into action with the Scottish Championships starting tomorrow.  None of the Olympians in action, although team reserve Ross Whyte skips the favourites.

Having a World Championships right after the Olympics is very underwhelming, but that is the world of curling and ice hockey  You would think skipping a year would actually make the WCH more valuable.
