She has 2 world cup results this year (of 5 required). Another 3 results are calculated as every 20% more of average of this 2. She is currently not in WCSL top 30 in SL,but she gets additional national CRO quota because Zrinka Ljutić is in top 30 in 2 disciplines.

it looks that she might have torn the ACL and broken her leg

 

she's been taken to the hospital by helicopter and everybody's waiting for an update on her situation

yeah...I feel pain for her right now...

 

however, the diagnosis is scary: multi-fragmentary displaced fracture of the tibial plateau and fibular head of the left leg :yikes: :cry:

A displaced tibial plateau fracture is *nasty* :(

yeah, very nasty

 

however, surgery is already underway in Milan

 

the doctor (the same who always takes care of our skiers) didn't look too optimist and talked of a very bad situation :yikes: :cry:

I had a similar skiing injury, but much less severe (no displacement, so didn’t have surgery) and it took me months to walk normal again so :/

in 2021 I had a knee injury with partially torn ACL and the tibial plateau was almost fractured (it went so close...I was very, very lucky not to see my knee literally explode, said the doctor)

 

it took me 7 months (with a lot of physio and painkillers, luckily no surgery) to walk normal with (almost) no pain

 

so, I know what we talk of ;)

      Because of Del Bosco or Wallasch? I know that Del Bosco got only 5 WC points this season. But he is probably the oldest one so may make the last Games in his career. Wallasch made 18 points this season .....

      Due Schmidt reached an Olympic Q time in SLC at the end of the qualifying window. 6'29''76 for 6'30 in the 5000. This means he can honor his place in the MS. Denmark will have 2 skaters.
