heywoodu 13,562 Posted February 20, 2018 #481 Share Posted February 20, 2018 (edited) Gus Kenworthy (I would not have been surprised if American TV somehow turned away, but luckily they acted normal and didn't) Obviously something like this should be normal instead of newsworthy (after all, we see athletes kissing their partners after a good performance all the time and this is exactly the same), but since it's still newsworthy, why not share it. heywoodu 13,562 Posted February 21, 2018 #482 Share Posted February 21, 2018 Two people got injured at the 'Holland Heineken House', when the men's pursuit team was celebrated for their bronze medal. People were making noise while they were being talked to by the host, which eventually lead to the athletes getting annoyed. Then, in a not so smart move, they kinda threw the 'stone'* into the audience, hurting two of them...it looks like they're alright (one as taken away by ambulance), but that wasn't very smart. Spoiler *every medal winner got one, which was then given to the audience, who moved it to the back of the room for it to go up on a wall If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
