Anyway, both bobsled and curling have a large online presence so it isn't too surprising that nations that don't care about winter sports would watch them the most on YouTube

I'm surprised China went with speed skating, but then again, so did South Korea so I guess they made the mistake of combining speed skating and short track into one thing.

Exactly, the few times i talk about winter games with "normal" people who i know, they always talk about the sport of the "big sleigh" and dificult name.
