Wooow 4 medals for us tonight

Lol nevermind, that was too good to be true  Nice of them to announce it so long after the race ended and she had time to celebrate...

Tactically, Giles has run like a drain his entire career. It's almost supernatural!

Well, there's that as well. But even still, he and Reekie had the same problem - no kick to call on in the home straight.

That steeple DSQ is very, very harsh, especially with the leniency being shown in the sprints.

So they are being weak on false starts & tough on lane discipline.  :mumble:

Terrible start from Dina there but maybe showing some of the strength that she has been working on over the summer.

Sub 11 with a start like an absolute clown is quite impressive, actually.

aye, if she can put the first 40 of the SF and the last 60 of the final into one race, there's a good time there.

I'm tempted to hold fire on the 1500 joy because that barge by Ciara, while legit in race, was bordering on assault! If Jemma had finished 4th rather than 5th, I wonder...

I hope Jemma concentrates on 800, where I genuinely think she still has a Paris medal shout in the right race - the extra two laps just takes too much sting out of her finish, which isn't fabulous to begin with..

and yes, that SC DQ looks horrific, stand by for appeal methinks

    • I'll jump on the off-topic with an unpopular opinion - ice hockey isn't so stamina demanding to justify 25 people rosters. And it doesn't have big playing fields like football or rugby for example, where you'd require so many reserves. 15 field players + 3 goalies should be good. Or 18+3 at max. But 25 is too much imo and the constant substitutes are too much as well.
    • But her shooting surely never was horrendous, or even bad for her standards.
