See, I don’t really understand this logic. Teams play to win, not to lose. As a competitive athlete myself, that’s the way your mind works. Unless you’re one of the teams that were involved in the badminton fiasco at London 2012, and maybe there’s a few other cases too, but that’s besides the point. 
 

If Brazil had rested their best players for part of the game, it would make sense.

I agree, in terms of difference there wasnt many. But, guided by the betting apps, the Libano win pay up x8, so atleast for them its a shock hehe.
