If you believe in conspiracies, Ireland already won 2 women's quotas this morning, so they can lose the W50 kg one in the afternoon. :bones:

They might lose this afternoon, but the two victories this morning weren’t even close to being disputed

With Rafael Lozano's qualification, it's the highest :ESP representation at the Olympics boxing competition since ofc 1992.

Spain have some very good boxers at the moment, always tricky opponents.

India regains the quota it earned had to relinquish because of doping

Aidan Walsh has become Ireland’s 10th boxer qualified for the Olympics

He joins his sister Michaela Walsh who both qualify for back-to-back Olympics :)

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
