I think that appeal is pretty shocking. Reads like something someone on here would write for our faves rather than anything else.

“It is clear the Irish boxer did not want to box” as if that matters. Not a hope that Bach even reads it, never mind overturns it

Watch Bach give him a wildcard. Smh

Embarrassing f you ask me.

Of course he will not give because a precedent will be created and other people will appear: Chamizo, Lewinska and many more.

:IOC Saed Panah showed good level of fighting. I don't know how the Refugee Quotas where decided, but he probably has more level than half of the ones going to the olympics.

I think that Bach should give a wild card also to Lewinska in gymnastics, no joking.

And also Frank Chamizo. There will be a lot of people interested, so nothing like that will happen.

“It is clear the Irish boxer did not want to box” as if that matters. Not a hope that Bach even reads it, never mind overturns it

Okay, here is the thing

Let's came back in 2022, on European Championships. Semi-finals, Yurii Zakhareiev as world champion surprisingly lost to English boxer by split decision. But the fight was controlled by Zakhareiev, so Ukrainian side filled the protest and guess what darling, it was submitted and Zakhareiev on paper won the fight, but received bronze, because some nasty judges made really ugly decision. Hopefully, they were forever banned after that cringe.

Now our point is clear and simple - if we make only 1 deduction for Zakhareiev and not 2, the scores were 3 draws and 2 won for Yurii, so your Irish boxer will lose. There is nothing embarassing about it, it's clearly logical to try it because it's not about opinions, it's about harsh head referee judgment. The robberies is real in amateur boxing, and Zakhareiev was robbed at least once, which was confirmed not by my opinions, but by official decision from special commission, which is far more relatable than my, yours or anyone else in this forum.

I think that it might be a direct quota for her because now the results of European Championships is not confirmed in the list of qualifiers, so some process is going on

    • I have reported this again and they said it should be fixed now, please let me know if you are still facing issues.
    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
    • Here's my calculations of the quotas. I believe you are correct about Italy having 3 quotas in men's singles.   Men's Singles   3 Quotas: 2 Quotas: 1 Quota:   data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAPABAP///wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==   Women's Singles   3 Quotas: 2 Quotas: 1 Quota:     Men's Doubles   2 Quotas: 1 Quota:     Women's Doubles   1 Quota:
