because Nicolas Mahut did not convince the French tennis federation, they played several times together and were eliminated in the 1st round in several tournaments

At press conference after her first round match in Wimbledon :POL Magda Linette announced that she will play on Olympics in doubles with Alicja Rosolska who will use her protected ranking after long break after pregnancy. Also Magdalena Fręch intendes to play in doubles with Katarzyna Kawa, but they are waiting if their combined ranking will be enough to get in.

 

Earlier it was announced and confirmed that Hubert Hurkacz will play in doubles with Jan Zieliński and mixed with Iga Świątek.

Events and draws

There will be five separate events contested at Paris 2024:

Men's Singles: 64 draw
Women's Singles: 64 draw

Men's Doubles: 32 draw
Women's Doubles: 32 draw

Mixed Doubles: 16 draw

 

The draws will take place at 11am on Thursday 25 July.

    • My guess is Women’s football is where we will see some players refusing to go to the Olympics in protest at having to take a test. Feels like that’s one here they are some biological women who would do that. Maybe a few others    Could be the odd country where legal or political challenges cause issue for events. Particularly ones where local authorities have more power as urban ones where majority of sporting event are held more likely to be left wing and liberal.
