Women's skateboarding is extremely new. I agree that men's skateboarding is much better to watch, but comparing it to Tokyo, for example, there has been a huge evolution in women's.

I watched all guys, they were terrific. From Kevin to Jhoncarlos. Girls were painful to watch. Even gold medal winner from Japan was terrible, IMO. 

I give them credit for trying but it just wont get much better if majority of competitors are still in primary school.

Shirai Sora with a 90.11 in the first run. Yuto Horigome (can't believe he's in the finals again, what a legend) with the second best run at 89.90, but there's 3 runs in 87s so it's going to be a close round.
