Big blow for Sweden. Leo Carlsson expected to miss 3-5 weeks with a lesion in his left thigh so he'll surely miss the Olympics. Nylander, Hedman, Erik Karlsson, Brodin, Eriksson Ek, and Landeskog are all currently injured. -

The final day of the preliminary rounds featured several interesting games. The Netherlands played a tense match against the United States for the last semifinal spot. The score was tied 5-5 until the 84th minute. Finland scored the winning goal in the 86th minute against Sweden.
