Wu really struggled. :(

I feel sorry for Canadian girl, was indeed great.

McKay deserved that bronze.

The North Korean girl was overscored (mostly in her second dive). It’a not that she wasn’t good, but WA judges clearly wanted to reward her.

Yeah, judges again over or underscoring.

I dont even know how one of the Chinese got all 10s. It was good dive but not THAT good.

I disagree with you this time. I”ve been watching diving competitions for a long long time, and I think the North Korean girl won fair and square. Not that I wanted her to medal. I did not.. I dislike coaches that never smile (but that’s the way in PRK).

At the end of the competition I said to myself: “This is the first time all places were crystal clear”.

I wonder how healthy for the sport the Chinese totals dominance is.

Has the US dominance of basketball been hazardous for the sports health?

It all depends on what you make of it.

    • Suspect strongly that the Sultan of  is behind Global Wushu!     Another one is long distance & ultra triathlon.  There are literally millions being paid out in prize money to attract big name athletes from several sports, huge FTA TV coverage but seemingly no prospect of any profit.   And the classic is obstacle racing, which has effectively bought up the ownership of Modern Pentathlon.
    • apparently the Japanese organizers rejected OCA's nice request    now OCA is ordering them to do so in a not-so-nice language https://oca.asia/media/attachments/memberships_subcommittee/5/Decision_-_103rd_OCA_EB_Meeting_5ypY8y4.pdf   the last line is very interesting   I knew this for a while, for example that's why Jujjtsu is included in all of OCA events (despite being the worst sport to watch) but good to see OCA admit this. so with the corrupt OCA you can buy your way in. how much they paid the OCA officials for this ?   OK I know Qatar is financially supporting Padel (and UAE is paying everything for Jujitsu) but who is behind Teqball?  ! I don't think Thailand can do that.
    • Important information on team Aerials.   There is no AIN`s team at the start list of the world cup despite of the fact that belorussians have enough athletes to have a team.   https://medias4.fis-ski.com/pdf/2026/FS/8119/2026FS8119SLF1.pdf
    • By the way. It looks like no AIN`s will be in biathlon by the start of the Olympics. Russians filed an appeal to CAS to get AIN statuses in biathlon. But IBU did not agree to have hearings with short procedure. So the decisons are not expected before the end of qulifying period. (FIS could do the same but its top-officials prefer to help russians be back as quick as possible).   I would like to see Dolidovich at the Games. Because she is a real refugee of the relatively high level.
