Does anyone know what is South Africa’s criteria for accepting their Olympic quota? Is it possible if someone can email them, inquiring about the matter?

Greece defeat Italy 14-12 in the other semifinal, so assuming South Africa doesn’t decline their Olympic quota, Canada’s hopes are still alive. 
 

On Wednesday, Canada will take on Australia, while Italy will take on Netherlands.

I hate that we keep relying on other teams for quotas. Hoping for a winner takes all battle against Italy in either the 5th or 7th place match.

Her time would have gotten her silver in the last two Olympics (bronze the one before).

One year ago, if you told me that we would get 3 women under the 100m breaststroke OQT, there's no way I would've believed you.

 

So now we're at:

Angus: 1:06.66

Branton: 1:06.59

Lepage: 1:06.58

Looks like Swimming Canada put a lot of resources into the breaststroke so we can have a great medley relay.

 

Too bad freestyle and to a lesser extent backstroke has regressed a bit. I still feel good about the prospect of a bronze medal, but surpassing Australia and the United States remains tough
