The worst kept secret is official as WTA Finals are going to Riyadh. Technically it can't be worse than ghost town of Fort Worth or the windy mess in Cancun.

WTA is in financial dire straits and well, Saudi Arabia has more money than China who was the designated villain not so long ago :coffee:

Follow the money is always good!

Al Riyadh has already become a destination for many International events , Cleberties in all fields; Sport , Music , acting , Influencers are all keen on taking some portion of money Saudis are offering , so you are going see many Sporting events organized in KSA besides WC 2034

Crown Prince Of KSA Mohamed Bin Salman and the true ruler as his father is really sick wants to make it another version of Dubai , but Saudis has much more loads of Money and KSA is much bigger than UAE

  • 2 weeks later...

:EGY Mayar Sherif is back in a Madrid with a bang again and this time she defeats Kostyuk in straight sets to reach 3rd Rd , but unfortunately she will face Rybakina

if all tournaments were held in Madrid especially on Clay Season , she would have been in another level :d

Danielle Collins' win streak ended at 15 after she lost to Aryna Sabalenka.

Ons Jabeur lead 6-2 2-0 vs Madison Keys but still lost in three sets.

Yulia Putintseva blew 2 MP in the "artificial" Kazakh derby vs Elena Rybakina and lost five games in a row from 5-2 in the third set.

Last QF is tonight between Sabalenka & Mirra Andreeva.

    • Today is a day without Italians in the leads positions. I`m worried that they are not trying to revive this our sprint. There is only one Bosa and he is old. Pergher is young but she is also only one. It is a pity. After the Olympics they will probably 100% give up on the entire sprint. Our medal bag in Cortina will depend 90% on Ghiotto, just like it did on Fabris in Turin 2006. If Ghiotto will be in goodshape, he can even win 2 individual golds + a team medal. If not, it will be a flop. Apart from him, only Lollobrigida can compete in the mass start and possibly Giovannini in the men's mass start.

    • Yes, he is ones of the first supporters of Milei, owner of one of the most important stock market of Argentina (Bull market), he was peronist and for "unknown reasons" start to be libertarian.   Even being libertarian in my case, i have to admit that him is one of the dumbest of "Milei supporters" and a clown when  he is in TV, he made me feel  embarrassed in many occasions.   Camila Giorgi being with him is.......inconceivable.
