:ESP Carlos Alcaraz defeats :ITA Jannik Sinner 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the Indian Wells final. Alcaraz continues on his 11 match winning streak here, while Sinner’s undefeated 2024 season (17 consecutive wins) comes to an end.

:CAN Denis Shapolvalov upsets :GRE Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-2, 6-4 at the Miami Open in the R64 :clap:

 

Canadian tennis has been going on a downwards spiral the last couple of years awesome to see Shapo finally get a solid win.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony. 
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
