orangeman 1,407 Posted August 8, 2016 #121 Share Posted August 8, 2016 Oh, how far Canadian rowing has fallen. The geniuses in charge decided to break our successful men's 8s apart for more chances at medals. Great idea guys!

Syd7 4 Posted August 8, 2016 #127 Share Posted August 8, 2016 This event isn't fair for the athletes. You can't have one race where it is flat, the next it is choppy and un-raceable. It isn't hard to develop a venue that gives every athlete a chance. This Olympics has been a fiasco unfortunately, it better be the last time we schedule an Olympics in this area. intoronto

Let's keep Olympics to european nations, USA and (maybe) Australia, clearly the only civilized countries in the world. Gianlu33

Actually, since it all depends on placings within your heat, changing conditions don't really matter. If it's choppy, it's choppy for everyone in your heat.
