Last minute news: United Kingdom, Ireland, Portugal and Switzerland reportedly withdraw from Grand Final :yikes:

Aren't the rumours there that there was a meeting between them and EBU (possibly last night already), but in the end they decided to participate anyway?

No matter what, it'll definitely be worth watching, hard to imagine there will be no statement at all. The Dutch contingent of fans (3rd largest of all) are already planning a mass sing-along of Europapa when Joost was supposed to perform, and apparently the Norwegian fans are aboard now as well and the word is spreading quickly among the fans :d

They'd be better to sing it when the hosts are speaking and are on stage, because we all know no sound will be broadcasted from the arena around Israel.

The TV broadcast mix will just dampen crowd noise.

Absolutely, but the videos will for sure be flying around everywhere :d

This getting more ridiculous by the moment, the decision to suspend Joost is EBS’s and was based on complaint filed by a crew member, who is not Israeli , so if the Israeli journalist were annoying as they can be it’s still has nothing to do with the decision that was made, you can also argue that Joost himself had his “moments” in the Press conference, so my point is, that besides Hate towards Israel and/or Israelis , that those Eurovision “fans” decided to mark the Israeli performance?

Definitely true, like when someone asked a nasty question to Eden Golan and he quickly got in between that with a jab towards that 'journalist' (and in defense of Eden), along the likes of 'in which way would her presence make things unsafe?!'.
