Obviously, like every four years, the usual media circus has kicked off, with Italian politics and the government demanding the FIGC president’s head on a spike. Meanwhile, since the president is also an idiot, he doubled down, saying that football players are the only professionals and that other sports survive on government money. in Paris we got 40 medals and 12 golds and we had disappointing campaigns in quite a few disciplines we should have got the 15/50 already 2 years ago and we're on the raising curve in a few sports tbh, as it is right now, that 20/50 target is definitely realistic, maybe a bit optimistic, but realistic -
there's always the chance to change that just take 5-7% of the Superenalotto prize money and you have fixed the problem (and coni gets more money than ever)

I think definately with 48 teams it is not too many with 16. however I can accept that Swedens route was not deserved. The problem (or good for Sweden) is that they award teams in Europa league C division. Iof we did not fail in the B division we would probably not have won a playoff spot from B league. Maybe a Genius move from our former national coach😂
