He said in an interview he didn't feel well the two days, as in out of shape, not sick or anything. And even like that he was a couple of laps away from a silver. I thought I'd be dissapointed if he didn't medaled but I'm really just feeling really proud.

I like the points race (and the madison) so much  I really want to see either of them as a separate event again.

I agree 100%...

 

Track cycling has lost its diversity after endurance events were kicked out. The likes of Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico used to win medals here and nowadays they have hard time in qualifying for Olympics, let alone having high placements. It's all about sprint and team events which are very much powerhouse events, of course...

Same here. UCI wants the madison and individual pursuit back on the program, I think. But I'd also like to keep the omnium. I love the points race and the elimination.

Individual pursuit would be a bad addition, the team event is more interesting and it would be there only to pump up even more the medal numbers of GB, Australia, etc
