Agger 1,591 Posted August 14, 2016 Author #111 Share Posted August 14, 2016 I guess that's a nail to the coffin of the idea that omnium is riders who are mediocre at all. Olympic record (though of course individual pursuit hasn't been in the Olympics since 2008)
carivan 73 Posted August 14, 2016 #112 Share Posted August 14, 2016 Hansen is unstopable and Gaviria had a horrible pursuit. Sigh.

Agger 1,591 Posted August 14, 2016 Author #118 Share Posted August 14, 2016 Well. Lasse was pretty tired after the pursuit. It gives quite an advantage to those in the bottom of the scratch...

It's not an excuse because it hurts everyone, but the idea is to have these guys at their top for all three events. At least tomorrow the time trial is in the morning and there's at least 80 mins between the flying lap and the points race.
