363 Confirmed cases in Slovakia (+27 Yesterday)

According to PM if we´ll be able to keep the discipline we are showing and will be able to maintan the regulations and imposed measures we could finish among the 5 countries in the world that have managed the best this pandemic...but there also still a possibility we will have to shut down Slovakia completely for three weeks

At current pace we should have around 170k infected persons during the highest peak in early July (according to the new updated model of the developement of the pandemic based on current measures and regulations)

Apparently at least 8 Hungarian swimmers got the coronavirus.

Here are the named swimmers who have COVID-19:

Boglárka Kapás

Dominik Kozma

Dávid Horváth

Richárd Bohus

This is exactly why we can't have the Olympics this year. Kapás is the reigning World Champion in Women's 200m butterfly.

Precautions are being extended, as expected. Specifically until 28 April, which is a bit of a weird random day, but fine :p I expected it to be until a Sunday again (with of course new possible extensions).

+172 today, not 1000 :p (still a lot of course)

845 new cases today

Although these new daily numbers are of course not always literally 'today', but mostly a combination of the total new cases of the past few days.

Excellent explanation about why 28 April was chosen and not the end of May or something, quite simple: "Because it is simply impossible to look ahead more than a few weeks, so extending precautions already for almost two months from now makes zero sense."

Completely agreed.

Journalists have their brains already eaten, I think.

"Why don't you just test the entire population?!"

"Why 28 April and not until the end of the 'May vacation'?!" (this vacation ends on 3 May in most places)

Ugh.
