[OFF TOPIC] Coronavirus Pandemic

Here it is not such a "spectacle" and it's mainly covered on the news cycles. The TVs are not interrupting their holiday programming to show the truck arriving :d

The vaccination started today and only doctors and healthcare workers are going to get the first vaccines. No politicians, they will have to wait there turn on some of the next shipments.

Wait what, why would they do that other than in the USA where probably every drop that's been tested has been BREAKING NEWS? :d

Vaccination is probably going to start here in two weeks or so and I really hope they won't have that exaggerated stuff of showing things like 'the first vaccination' and so on :d (you know, since whoever they show isn't the first anyway)

And here too it will be the important people first, meaning healthcare workers and people working directly with patients.

Ireland moves back to level 5 restrictions (the highest level) and these will remain in place until the end of January. Schools will stay closed until January 11th at least. The expected rise in cases over the festive period is even beyond the projected "worst-case scenario" by health experts and the new strain is thought to be responsible for this unprecedented rise. The reproduction rate is now around 1.8 and if it doesn't come down very soon, our hospitals will be beyond capacity. Hurry up vaccine :(
