Also they are putting brabant in quarantine and stopping football matches there but then keep trains going to/from that province and keep all the other football matches where probably brabant people will attend as well....

Ajax and Feyenoord fans have reacted most surprised of all about that: "Wait, they play football in Brabant?" :p

And yeah, trains coming from there to Utrecht without troubles. Luckily Utrecht's train station is totally not the central transport hub in the Netherlands at all :)

Me: reads entire articles and pages about how people should probably go under quarantine around the world for a 2/3 weeks.

My college: classes remain as normal, attendance is still required, also...don’t cough?

The dramatic growth in Denmark continues with the amount up to 514 (and the first few critical) and now we're shutting down for 2 weeks.

No events with more than 100 people indoor (right now they're just asking people to cancel, but it will most an order in a day or two (the government need support from the parliament to do so).

The same with cultural institutions, bars and pretty much everything.

As much people possible will have to work from home and people are asked to use their vacation days.

Worst day yet in Italy...

yes and no...yesterday's numbers were incomplete (as I wrote) because the results of many tests from Lombardy Region (the zone with around 60% of all the Italian cases so far, 7200+ out of 12000+) were completed only after the daily bulletin by our health ministry...

analyzing yesterday and today's numbers correctly, gives a way more "regular" distribution of new registered cases (they are still too many, the curve is still increasing, so we can't be happy about it, but at least we didn't have a tragic increase like it could look at first sight)...

the main problem is that we are an "old" Country, which means that we have a lot of people more exposed to lethal consequences if they get sick (the number of deaths is scary, but as always, not all of them are stricly connected with this virus, which is just an accelerator for already compromised conditions)...

    • That’s good news. There’s been no mention of the team in the local papers at all. If they go, I think they’ll be the first Philippine athletes to represent the country in a team event at the World Games.
    • No, Lake Placid won the bid to be the back-up host over St Moritz and Igls. I don’t believe any other track expressed interest.
