FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match

for :IRI Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.

that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.

Its 100% like playing home.  There are so many Iranians here.  I have many Iranian clients.  I might go to those 2 games just for the atmosphere and the usa games are so expensive.  Already going to the Switzerland- Italy game

The question is how many matches in USA are stopped due to the stupid "inclement weather" federal rule. Would be a disaster especially in the last round of matches. I hope Canada and Mexico are free of this nonsense.

It's not a coincidence that a lot of the matches that are earlier in the day are in Atlanta and Houston and Dallas where they have roofs.  And most of the games in the outdoor stadiums are later in the day.

Strange schedule

16 june , vs Argentina in kansas city

22 june vs Jordan in san Francisco

27 june vs Austria in kansas city

the Distance San francisco- Kansas 2500km , so they fly 5000km to play 3 matchs :surprise:

Ooooooh the group of Canada , they play in Toronto then Vancouver ...look at the distance

That's so they can play in both venues in Canada.  Will mean that the UEFA Path A winner has to go from Toronto to Los Angeles and then up to Seattle.

Someone was bound to draw the short straw in that group since 4 of the matches are Central, but 2 are in Santa Clara.  Unfortunately, that's Algeria.

    • That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
    • That’s not a long distance, it’s barely a 2h flight and there is no difference in timezone. Easily doable for fans as well.
