A new world

Slovakia

SVK
The Slovakians have won medals each time they competed, including their debut at Atlanta 1996, after the end of Czechoslovakia. Canoe slalom has yielded half of its 24 medals, including its seven golds (the others are nine silvers and eight bronzes).

So sad that your country (which is younger than me) has almost two times the number of gold medals of my 900 year old nation (we have only 4....) and we participate in the Olympics since 1912....

Only if we weren't a football-only country....

nah look, I have an opposite problem. I can´t even explain how I will be extaticly happy if we win at least one single gold medal as long as I will live from other sport than canoe slalom, I know it´s hard to believe but man that´s so frustrating

Still no new website. I'm starting to wonder if the Opening ceremony will be held on August 5th, or will it be delayed too. :p

WHy are they not updating anything on the official website; details of the schedule, etc.

Nope, this isn't complete still as I see some athletes missing.

Though, interesting to note that quite a few nations don't have a single female athlete (Iraq, Tuvalu, Monaco, Vanuatu, Nauru).

    • Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2025      Thank you Slovenia! Argentina get their second 12 points of this year's contest to keep their hopes of a podium finish very much alive.   Big points also for Italy who become the 3rd nation to breach the 100-point barrier and they close the gap to France in 2nd.   That concludes the third session of this year's TISC Annual. Ireland maintain the lead as they have from the very start of the contest. Their lead now stands at 28 points which is sizeable though not insurmountable with 8 juries still to vote, including Ireland.   We will take a 1 hour 30 minute break now and will resume the fourth and final session at 19:00 GMT.      Juries Voted: 26/34    1  Ireland 2 136  18  Guatemala   53  2  France 4 108  19  Netherlands   51  3  Italy 11 102  20  Tunisia   50  4  Argentina 12 96  21  Denmark   49  5  Romania   85  22  Poland   48  6  Albania 9 85  23  Sweden 1 46  7  Spain   84  24  Lithuania 3 45  8  Germany 7 84  25  Malta 5 43  9  Canada   74  26  Turkey 10 43  10  Mexico   73  27  Greece   37  11  Serbia   66  28  Slovenia   36  12  Kazakhstan 8 65  29  China   34  13  Portugal   65  30  Bulgaria   32  14  Great Britain 6 63  31  Indonesia   30  15  United States   62  32  Slovakia   28  16  Ukraine   57  33  Brazil   28  17  Israel   55  34  India   15
