So many field events being decided in the last few attempts. Shame the general public only sees track action, as the focus on these events is almost like the people in charge would like to get rid of them.

Kitaguchi upgrades her bronze from last year, to gold in the women's javelin throw, with a best mark of 66.73m. 65.47m for Ruiz Hurtado in silver, and 63.38 for  Little in bronze.

Just noticed Gabi Thomas studied at harvard. Now, that is impressive. Good for her.

 Jackson clocks the second fastest time in history in 21.41 to win gold in the women's 200m.
