So far everything is going according to plan for german fencing. Hopefully they won't mess it up in the remaining competitions.

"According to plan" is not sufficient.

As of today it will be a very tough battle with Italy in men's sabre in Poland in women's foil and both teams could end up without a quota.

Best option for a team quota might be men's foil, but here indeed tomorrow will be crucial.

Women's foil seems a bit more predictable, this is what I would go with for tomorrow:

1. :ITA  2. :USA  3. :JPN  4. :FRA  5. :CAN  6. :CHN  7. :GER  8. :POL

Which would give us this Olympic ranking before the final 3 World Cup events.

1. :ITA  296 pts - World 1

2. :USA  260 pts - World 2

3. :FRA  224 pts - World 3

4. :JPN  216 pts - World 4

---

5. :CAN  194 pts - America

6. :CHN  170 pts - Asia

7. :GER  146 pts - Europe

8. :POL  144 pts

9. :HUN  130 pts

10. :KOR  126 pts

11. :HKG  123 pts

12. :UKR  122 pts

13. :ESP  116 pts

14. :ROU  107 pts

15. :EGY  100 pts - Africa

16. :AUT  97 pts

17. :MEX  72 pts

I think you don't understand what the plan is ...

They try to become so bad that their funding will be completely cut.

Ok so Kharlan qualified at the OG via special quota at least (it was suggested by our favorite Thomas Bach) :hyper:

Always knew that he was a great guy. He is an olympic fencing champion after all.

So Bach is like the Pope now. He is giving his blessings and apperently quotas on his desire.  I want a volleyball quota too mister President.
