Fun fact: It's KOŽICA and it means thin skin. :p

In Polish it's without ˇ and means something different - this is kozica:

Khrushchev (Khrush) was also a Ukrainian beetle.

There was a Russian lady 400m runner called Krivoshapka - Crooked Hat.  Also a few Chernousov/Chernousovas = Black mouth.

(It’s because of serfdom - owners would give their serfs insulting names)

And also in Croatian kozica means little goat, while Kožica is thin skin.

Yeah I've mostly decided to skip the weird Z's and things like that, sorry :p It's hard enough to try and keep track of things like Pérez vs Perez :d

Thin skin is an interesting meaning of someone's name though :d

That's disappointing. I thought é in Pérez is just the accent? Ž is separate letter, and not a variation of z - it's prounounced like zh. :p

Sleptsova - slepoy - blind - perfect name for a biathlete :p
