Which, no doubt, is Arber. There even at IBU Cup level you have to make sure you get a good spot before the start or else there's like two whole lines of people in front of you :d

Two whole lines, it is amazing that a fight does not break out!

I was speaking about biathlon in general.  Yes I know that the "roar" is very muted even at the best IBU Cup event.:)

Well the Osrblie stage is always sold out

Sold out as in, there are tickets? :yikes: That's new for an IBU Cup :d

Checked some other Osrblie videos from IBU as well and that looks pretty awesome indeed :cheer:

Happy to see Hammerschmidt back on the snow :) Let's hope for good results so she can find her way back into the A team.

Also, only four Lithuanians starting tomorrow, that's pretty sad. We are definitely capable to put 4 in the men's race at least, don't know why we didn't.

I was looking at the start list for the men's race tomorrow.  It turns out that Vinny Fountain, who starts 75th tomorrow, and races for the UK was born in Virginia.  I wonder about that story.

Don’t know about him specifically, there are lots of American-based Brits in various sports at the moment.  Usually it’s American-born people with one British parent who have been through or are still in the NCAA system and who are eligible for some kind of subsidy or help from the lottery-funded British system.

@heywoodu  Is the little Slettemark eligible for World Cup status? I mean her mother pretty much extended her career beyond limits to keep the nation quota alive? When does it expire?

I'm not sure about the nation quota, though I'm pretty sure her result at junior worlds makes her eligible for at least one trimester.

    • With a week to go till the deadline for the world invitational, the rosters look beefy for the discus on both sides.24 entries for the men[19 accepted in so far] and 25 for the women[18 accepted so far] For the men so far there are three 70 meter throwers[i count Denny as that since it's just 4 centimeters off his pb]10 from mid 66 to low 69,three of 65 and over, four from almost 64 to almost 65.On the women's side the 18 accepted throwers all have a pb of over 60 meters.11 of them have  pbs over 64 plus.of the ones still not there besides Valerie and Yaime who have been marketed so i can only assume they will join, such names as  Sandra Elkasevic,Bin Feng, and jordine van klinken aren't signed up yet, jordine's probably the most likely of them to join in tough feng would be a cool surprise,i somehow don't see Sandra doing this, but it would be awesome if she did.Stahl and ceh aren't in yet on the men's side, ceh has been marketed while stahl hasn't been mentioned at all,[pretty sure stahl will not be there],Lukas[last name is too wild for me to even try] and lawrence okoye aren't there yet either but i'm betting both will be joining in.
    • What a shame. That would have been amazing.
    • It's complete American domination in the women's discus rankings so far this year, they occupy the top 4 slots, and the WORST result of those four was achieved at Ramona .Third place currently belongs to Ciera Jackson who had a huge almost 4 METER pr at the west coast relays on friday-64.42[previous best was 60.77 from march of 2023,and she opened her season a week ago with at that time her second best result ever of 60.14]she also had a 63.66 throw to back this new pb up,and finally with her new personal best she took down the school record that stood for 36 YEARS[Btw Valerie Allman actually competed in Ramona on march 30th but conditions were apparently far from ideal and she fouled four times and her best was a 63.61,i don't doubt that in the event that she competes in the  world intational, the conditions will be perfect,i wouldn't be so bold as to say she wouldl get the world record but for sure i think she could get a new personal best.
    • So after finding this this morning     I started to search for more news about the date and ticket prices all over the world web !   I found this then       to just notice later that   it was April fools     so yeah, that was my day
