Interesting women's team for Germany this WC round:

Marion Deigentesch (World Cup debut)

Maren Hammerschmidt

Denise Herrmann

Janina Hettich

Vanessa Hinz

Franziska Preuss

It's the first time since Presque Isle in the 16/17-season Franziska Hildebrand has not been selected for a WC.

Anna Weidel should have been there too.

Glad for Doll.  Do you think Germany needs to be relevant for Biathlon to be profitable?  I am thinking TV, sponsors, etc.

I love the finish, slight downhill.  They can fly into the finish.

I also share seven with @heywoodu, but one of them is different than yours.

This has been three races to forget from on individual standpoint for the US.  I think between all 9 who have raced, they collectively has less than 20 points.  A few decent results in relays, but not much.  If a miracle happens and one of them wins the pursuit, very very unlikely, they might get into the mass start.
